There is a very large pool of providers offering transportation in Kyiv. National authorities offer rail transportation (light train) services, municipal authorities offer rail (metro, tram, and funicular) and non-rail (bus, trolley-bus) transportation and rental (tram and bus) services, the private sector offers non-rail transportation (bus, taxi, helicopter, boat and yacht) and rental (boat, van and car, scooter and bicycle) services. Integration of transportation services between and within the sub-sectors is low. Quality of services and prices vary a lot between and within the sectors.
